Sketchbook

Here are sketches of my observations of the WA Maritime Museum using pencil and pen. The cover sketch below shows the building jutting out over the ocean.

The museum is a complex and unique building with maritime forms, impressive high ceilings and towering columns. As you scroll through the sketches, you get a sense of the building and its immersive experience and history. The contrast of light and shadow defines each space, generating different moods. It is an intriguing journey through varied pathways and multiple levels. Paths tend to wind and connect back to key areas.
